BanglaSoc Families Explore Your Roots Week

Hey guys! On the run up to Bangladesh Language Day on the 21st of February, we have decided to launch a week to explore your Bangladeshi heritage and roots.
Being a cultural society it’s important to celebrate but also educate ourselves about the unique history of our country.
What to do?
This week we challenge our members to spend their time connecting to their origins, exploring their heritage and educating themselves about their culture. Work with your Banglasoc families to find out about your individual journey.
You could express your culture through Bangladeshi poetry, traditional clothing, family ornaments, family history / gaw (village) history, Bangladeshi music, traditional cooking, just to mention a few.
On the 21st we will be holding an online event where our members, Banglasoc families and personal families can share and present their findings!
Feel free to keep things casual or professional depending on your preferences.
